Norbauer ready-to-type keyboards are compatible with standard Lemo plug connectors (Part No. FGG.0B.304.KLAD52), so you’re not locked into using only Norbauer cables.

Many keyboard community custom cable makers can create compatible cables for you in a wide variety of lengths, colors, and sheathing options. Simply ensure that your cable maker uses the following pin configuration for the plug. This is as viewed from the forward/tip of the part (cable is on the rear side of what we're seeing on the Lemo hardware), with the alignment mark oriented up.

Note, however, this second image is viewed from the rear of the port (i.e., at the the soldering point for the internal wires), with the alignment mark oriented up. This means that, viewed from the front part of the port, the wire positions would be horizontally mirrored (D+ and V+ on the right).
